How can I use the icons in my computer?

Unfortunately you can only change the icon of a shortcut
(shortcuts have a little arrow on the bottom left side of the icon).
The way you do it is right-click on the shortcut and choose Properties.
Then, you'll see two tabs, General and Shorcut, click on Shortcut.
Finally, click on Change Icon and then Browse and go find you Icon files! (.ico).
